Our poplar multilayer board is designed for interior applications where light weight, smooth machinability, and strong screw-holding power are key priorities. Manufactured from selected Grade A/B poplar veneers free from decay or blue stain, this board delivers reliable performance in dry indoor environments. It is an excellent choice for wardrobe carcasses, bookcases, decorative back panels, and other furniture components that require easy handling, clean cutting, and dependable fastening-all at a competitive price point.
Optimized Drying & User-Friendly Processing
We carefully manage poplar's natural tendency toward higher moisture content through high-temperature kiln drying, maintaining moisture levels between 6% and 10%. This process helps prevent blue stain and warping. Depending on application requirements, we use eco-friendly melamine-modified urea resin for standard use or phenolic resin for mild moisture resistance. Poplar multilayer board is notably easy to work with-it cuts cleanly, edges smoothly, and does not gum up tools-making it a favorite among cabinetmakers and installers.
Perfect for Dry Interior Furniture & Paneling
This board is ideal for wardrobes, storage units, drawer sides, bed frames, interior wall linings, and ceiling substrates. Please note that it is not recommended for kitchens, bathrooms, or other damp areas. When selecting, inspect panel edges for uniformity and the absence of blue stain, and pair with E0-grade laminates to support better indoor air quality.
