OSB (Oriented Strand Board) uses high-grade environmentally friendly adhesives, complying with the highest European environmental standard EN300. The finished product fully meets the European E1 standard, with virtually zero formaldehyde emissions, comparable to natural wood and far lower than other panel materials. It is the highest-grade decorative panel on the market and a truly green and environmentally friendly building material, fully meeting people's requirements for environmental protection and healthy living. The market price of OSB is also comparable to high-grade blockboard, and OSB exhibits comparable excellent performance in both environmental protection and physical properties. Compared to Australian pine board, it is closer to fine woodworking board.
It is made from small-diameter timber, thinned timber, and wood cores as raw materials, processed into 40-100mm long, 5-20mm wide, and 0.3-0.7mm thick flakes using specialized equipment. These flakes are then processed through degreasing, drying, gluing, oriented laying, and hot pressing to form an oriented structural panel. The surface flakes are arranged longitudinally, while the core flakes are arranged transversely. This crisscross arrangement reconstructs the wood grain structure, completely eliminating the influence of internal stress on processing, giving it extraordinary ease of processing and moisture resistance. Because OSB has an oriented structure internally, without joints, gaps, or cracks, it has excellent overall uniformity and extremely high internal bonding strength. Therefore, both the center and edges have superior nail-holding ability unmatched by ordinary panel materials. Relying on Germany, the chemical kingdom, the adhesives used in OSB consistently maintain a world-leading position, and the formaldehyde emission of the finished product meets the highest European standard (European E1 standard), comparable to natural wood.
